Amendment to Rule 43 of Rules of the Sports Tribunal came into force on 1 March 2011
Rule 43 of the Sports Tribunal Rules has been amended. The effect of the amendment is to allow an appellant, who is appealing a decision of a National Sports Organization or the New Zealand Olympic Committee, to apply to the Tribunal to have the decision, or part of the decision, appealed against suspended pending the hearing of the appeal. The amendment came into effect on 1 March 2011.

The Sports Tribunal has adopted amendments to the Rules of the Sports Tribunal of New Zealand. The amended Rules came into force on 31 August 2009. They replace the previous Rules adopted on 2 July 2007. These amended Rules apply to all proceedings, appeals or matters over which the Tribunal has jurisdiction.
The amended Rules apply to all proceedings commenced with the Tribunal from 31 August 2009 onwards. Any proceedings commenced with the Tribunal before will be dealt with under previous Rules of the Tribunal.
Rules of the Sports Tribunal of New Zealand are made pursuant to s 39 of the Sports Anti-Doping Act 2006. These Rules set out how the Tribunal determines disputes.
